The previous post, was just some freestyle writing and things are all over the place with no structure at all. Yeah, I know I can brabble too much, the previous post was actually about designs and it ended up about creating websites. I wish I could check out the history of website designs (or should do one myself), as it’s pretty interesting to see how the designs changed throughout the years, not only because of trends, but also because of the limitations of technology.

The current hot trend nowadays are pages which has that Mac OS-like gradients in it and round corners (especially havng a “tab”-structure). This page shows some “hot” designs and you can clearly see what I mean by that.

Today I’ve seen something cool at DS Fanboy. There’s a step-by-step guide on how to make your own Nintendo DS Lite in Photoshop. Isn’t that cool?!

So what has this to do with website design?

If you know a little Photoshop and are into website (or interface) designing and you want to know how to make a website that uses the current hot trend of gradients and buttons, then all the techniques are described in that page. With those techniques you can create the tabs.

The buttons.

The glow.

All of that.

Just like that.

Go wild!

PS. Yes, this is more or less a double post as I was missing one post two days ago. I will keep an average of at least one post per day. For all the five regular readers (whoever you are) I will make sure it keeps interesting.

Just spread the word about this page if you find it interesting, okay?
